This unuque bulb made by Sylvania is intended to imitate an oil lamp fixture with a white hurricane-shape globe and glass chimney sticking out of the top. Intended to fit into wall light fixtures, and possibly hanging oil-lamp style lights too, it is shaped out of one piece of glass with the white glaze only applied to the "globe" part of it. This picture of one that was sold on Ebay last year shows the box it came in (sadly I don`t have a box for mine) which features an illustration of a fixture it may fit in.
